The Brief
Following the relocation of his business from Ipswich to the Redlands, owner Simon Larsen engaged Sustainable Marketing Services to help grow brand awareness and generate income in the Redlands within six to 12 months.
Our scope included developing an integrated marketing strategy, brand positioning, social media strategy and execution, and leading the development of a high-performing website—including digital strategy and content creation.

- Visual Identity: Refined visual branding for digital use to maintain a professional and cohesive appearance.

- Vehicle Signage: Worked with Allan MacKenzie from Mavmedia to take images of Simon to build more trust in the brand.
Ongoing implementation
Social Media:
- Develop a social media strategy as part of the marketing plan. This included key messages, content pillars, content topics and hashtags.
- Produce ongoing custom social media graphics and copy to strengthen brand awareness and support lead generation.
- Research and create content and graphics, resize Facebook and Instagram, schedule posts, and monitor and respond to comments.
- Conduct a monthly report, review performance, and optimise content to continue to improve performance of social media.
Results
- Achieved one new custom build/renovation within three months of launch.
- Generated four leads directly from Facebook between February and April.
- Facebook reached 10,677 people in April 2025, achieving a strong engagement rate of 1.78%, well above industry benchmarks. (Started work on Facebook in November 2024)
- Instagram reached 531 profiles with an exceptional engagement rate of 2.13%, indicating strong audience connection.
- Website Performance (launched 20 December 2024):
- Domain rating climbed to 5 within four months
- 118 visitors in April, 116 new users, and 117 active users and an engagement rate of 49.14% with average session duration of 1:52 minutes
- Website traffic increased 9.4% from March to April, indicating positive momentum from SEO and social media to build brand awareness
- There is good diversity of traffic across marketing channels.
- Most-visited pages include action pages like Contact, Home Renovations, New Homes, Bathrooms, Kitchens, Gallery, and Case Studies
