Flex Charge is an Australian-based charge point operator (CPO) and network equipment owner, providing an electric vehicle charging network.

Flex Charge is part of the Velocity Energy group, which has a proven history as a technology enabler and operator of demand response and virtual power stations.

This innovative company is working to support a shift in electric vehicle charging from night to day to take the pressure off the energy grid at peak times.

The Brief

The Sustainable Marketing team was engaged by Flex Charge to build and launch a new brand for this innovative start-up.

This included branding, brand architecture with sister company, digital, public relations, marketing communications, social media and traditional marketing.

We had the pleasure of helping Flex Charge to launch their new business with the following:

  • Strategic Positioning: to differentiate this smart company from competitors
  • Brand visual identity: including assets such as letterheads and email signatures
  • Digital Strategy: create the strategy and manage the build of a campaign website (see website here)
  • Thought leadership PR: create article and supporting advertisement for Health Care Facilities
  • Social Media: create a Facebook business page and brand content assets
  • Sales Tools: create a range of sales tools targeting remote accommodation
  • Conference Tools: create a presentation and banner for the IHEA Qld Conference
  • Marketing communications: create a range of content, including website content, educational blogs, sales tools, presentation and banner.

Our Strategy

Flex Charge was launched successfully at the IHEA Qld Conference in July 2023.

We are a strong believer in listening to market feedback. So, we also made some minor refinements to the content to increase engagement and drive a better result.

The launch at the IHEA Qld Conference, PR thought leadership and supporting advertisement in Health Care Facilities media saw strong interest in Flex Charge.

The launch of a Facebook business profile with content supporting the brand reached 1,499 people (organically) and 3,603 for a small $25 boosted post.
